Our big trip this year was to the Mexican Riviera on a Norwegian Cruise Lines trip out of Los Angeles to Acapulco, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas. It was our first cruise and we enjoyed kicking back while playing in the beach cities. Kate had a chance to swim with the dolphins. Karin's mom, Sonja, came too, and had a great time with the kids. Click on the photos below to see some of the fun!

Claire Elena Gotfredson turned four years old in January. She started a private kindergarten in 2006, and will begin public school kindergarten in September of 2007. She loves her gymnastics lessons and swimming at the beach and in the pool. Claire is also quite an artist. One of her favorite things to do is color pictures of mommy and daddy. Claire is a very sensitive, caring little girl who loves to play with her big sister Kate. | ![]() |

Our oldest daughter, Kate Charlotte is 11 years old and started middle school (6th grade) in September of 2006. Kate loves to play the piano and started with a new teacher a few months ago. The new piano teacher is really helping Kate as she begins to put more "heart" into her playing. Kate also enjoys gymnastics, horseback riding, dancing, drawing, and playing on the computer. Kate is a rambunctious kid with a lot of personality. We enjoy her great sense of humor and nightly hugs and kisses before she goes to bed. |

Karin works part time training academic counselors and teaching at the University of Phoenix in San Diego. She is the best mom in the world! Karin loves reading to the kids at night and taking family trips to the beach, Sea World, etc. She is the best at teaching the kids what's right and wrong, and coming up with just the right answers to all those difficult kid-questions. |
